On Sunday 12th November 2017, some of the crew from Habitat Creations were thrilled to attend and be part of the Neerim South Frog Festival, held at the Neerim South Wetlands. In its second year, the weather was absolutely perfect and attracted a big crowd.
Here at Habitat Creations we hold the Neerim South Wetlands dear to our hearts. We had an integral role in the creation of the Neerim South Wetland, both in the design stage, as well as growing and installing all plants, and we continue to maintain the estate on behalf of Baw Baw Shire Council. It’s a project we have worked on form the very beginning and we love to re-visit and see it thriving.
Steve, Shae and Donna assisted on the day by leading guided wetland walks, and assisting with any questions visitors had.
They enjoyed the festivities of the day, some highlights were the wood sculptor as well as the reptile stand.
The Neerim South Frog Festival is proving to be a stayer on the Gippsland Event Calendar, it will be on again next year so put it in your diary and make sure you come along for a great day out in a beautiful location.
